Club events

The Club operates as a special interest section of the British Airways Club and section members are required
to be paid up members of that club.
The Members, their families, and guests (over 16), are able to enjoy organized ski and social activities and the Section is
generally able to draw on a wealth of contacts throughout the world when organising ski trips.
Our principal activities are a 'Warm-Up Week' mid-December in Zell am See, and our 'Club Championship Week' mid-January, in Bad Hofgastein, both in Austria. Also, teams are selected to represent the airline at various European and World airline ski meetings. New members of any standard are most welcome, also snowboarders. Our aim is to provide superior ski instruction for all abilities, with enthusiasm to improve being the main criterion, rather than achieved proficiency. We use good hotels and obtain excellent value for money, all adding up to a quality ski & fun formula with extras - some challenging, some entertaining - that you could not find on a commercial package tour.

The members of the BA Ski Club have now acquired a standard ski outfit. The advantages of this are two fold :
1) We would look like a team when we compete at events such as those hosted by ASCA, NAASF and IASF.
2) We can get hold of some really good kit (Spyder) really cheap (compared to UK prices - see below).
This is the choosen design of a midnight blue jacket with red, white and blue stripes and a discreet British Airways Ski Club /
Speedmarque logo on the front. Matching pants are also available. The pictures above show the actual jackets and pants..
